Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masks made of fine Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Macchi C.202 Folgore fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit and it is not a finished model, but an accessory that makes masking easier and more accurate when spraying paint.
The masks are applied to the canopy frames and to the wheel rims, so that after spraying the glass stays clear and the tires stay free of paint. Kabuki tape adapts well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The canopy frames therefore come out sharp and straight, with no tape to cut by hand.
The Macchi C.202 Folgore (lightning) was an Italian single-seat fighter of the Second World War with an inverted V12 engine derived from the German Daimler-Benz DB 601 and built under license by Alfa Romeo. Thanks to its powerful engine and its clean aerodynamic lines, it was among the best Italian fighters of the conflict.
The set contains pre-cut masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
