Responsibility details are not available.
A colored photo-etched instrument panel for the cockpit of the German Messerschmitt Me 262A jet fighter in 1:72 scale from Yahu Models. It is not an aircraft model but a finished, pre-printed and painted cockpit accessory, which replaces the plastic instrument panel in the base kit and markedly raises the realism of the cockpit.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe was the first jet fighter in the world to go into series production and into combat. It was powered by a pair of Junkers Jumo 004 turbojets mounted under the wings, and the A-1a fighter version carried four 30 mm MK 108 cannons in the nose. Thanks to its high speed it outclassed piston fighters, although its use at the end of the Second World War was limited by both technical and strategic problems.
This is a finished colored photo-etched cockpit accessory, not an aircraft kit. The base model and glue are not included in the package.
