1:72 Messerschmitt Bf-109 F2/4 EXPERT kabuki masks

Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2/F-4 1:72 - EXPERT kabuki masks, New Ware

This is a masking set, not an airplane kit. The set from New Ware contains pre-cut self-adhesive masks in fine kabuki tape for the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2/F-4 in 1:72 scale. At New Ware the EXPERT level is the most complete: it covers the cockpit glazing from the outer and the inner side, deals with the frames and the seals of the canopy, and adds masks for further clear parts, for the wheels and usually for the exterior position lights and surface details as well. The masks are shaped for a particular kit of the given type in this scale.

Use

• Degrease the clear parts before masking and let them dry - a mask will not hold on a greasy surface.
• Lift the individual masks from the sheet with tweezers, seat them according to the frames and press them down above all around the edge.
• Spray the interior color of the cockpit first, then the primer and the opaque camouflage - the frames will then come out sharp.
• The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub, so that you can spray the hub separately.
• Lift the mask once the coat has become tacky, not after it has hardened completely; the point of a knife or tweezers helps.

Who the set is for

For modelers who build the Bf 109 F in 1:72 scale and want cleanly bounded cockpit frames and wheel hubs without slow cutting of tape with a knife. The EXPERT level will be appreciated by those who want to mask the inner side of the cockpit and the fine surface details as well.

An accessory for a model, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package. When spraying, work in a ventilated space and use a respirator.
