A sheet of waterslide decals from SBS Model in 1:72 scale for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf-109G-6 fighter in the colors of the Hungarian Air Force, the second part of the line. It is not a kit but a decal set for rendering particular Hungarian machines.
The Messerschmitt Bf-109G-6, nicknamed the Gustav, formed the backbone of the Hungarian fighter arm at the end of the Second World War. The second part of the decal line widens the choice of Hungarian machines with further variants. The set holds period Hungarian aerial national insignia and the tactical markings of the machines in question.
The decals are waterslide decals (wet decals). Prepare the surface you apply them to to a smooth gloss, ideally overcoat it with a gloss varnish so that the edges do not silver. Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water, position it on the model, gently squeeze out the water and the air bubbles and let it dry. On broken-up surfaces and on rivets a decal softener helps. Once it has dried, overcoat the whole thing with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is an accessory decal set, not a model. The kit of the aircraft itself, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
