An injection-molded plastic kit of the heavy twin-engine fighter and attack aircraft Messerschmitt Bf 110E in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. Eduard offers this kit in several editions (ProfiPACK and Weekend among them), which differ in the extras (photo-etch, masks) and in the number of decal schemes. The Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter (Zerstörer) of the Second World War with a crew of two to three. The E version brought a strengthened structure, the ability to carry bombs and further changes for both attack and fighter duties. The Bf 110 saw service over western Europe and on the Eastern Front and later served as the basis for night fighters. It was powered by liquid-cooled inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engines.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic, fit the extensive canopy glazing carefully and use masks for clean frames. It pays to paint the interior of the two-seat cockpit and pick out its detail before closing up the fuselage. Lay a gloss clear coat down before the decals and pick out the panel lines with a wash at the end; on a twin-engine aircraft, take care over the correct seating of the engine nacelles.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
