1:72 Mi-24V Hind E

Eduard — Masking Set, Mi-24V Hind E, 1:72

This is not a helicopter model, but a set of self-adhesive masking templates from Eduard, designed for building a model of the Soviet Mil Mi-24V Hind E combat helicopter in 1:72 scale. The masks are precisely pre-cut from yellow kabuki tape and follow the shapes of the multi-segment cockpit glazing and the wheels of this specific kit.

Use

• Peel the individual masks from the sheet and apply them to the pilot and gunner cockpit glazing and to the wheels.
• Spray over the masked areas with an airbrush or spray paint.
• Once dry, peel off the mask for clean glazing and sharply separated tires and hubs.
• The kabuki tape follows many small glazing frames and leaves no adhesive residue.

The real subject

The Mil Mi-24 Hind is a Soviet combat helicopter that combines the firepower of a gunship with the ability to carry a squad of troops. The Mi-24V version is one of the most numerous and carries the type's characteristic separate, tandem pilot and gunner cockpits. The aircraft was and still is in service with a number of armed forces around the world.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Mi-24V Hind E in 1:72 scale who want fast, precise masking.
• Anyone who wants to avoid hand-cutting masks for the multi-segment cockpit glazing.
• Builders aiming for cleanly glazed cockpits and sharp camouflage transitions.

This is an add-on (a masking set), not a kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
