An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet jet fighter MiG-15 in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. The model offers finely rendered plastic with rich surface detail and a decal sheet with several marking schemes. The box contains plastic parts and instructions.
The MiG-15 was among the most important jet fighters of the early Cold War. The combination of a swept wing, a powerful engine and heavy armament made it an unpleasant opponent, and it made a strong mark in the Korean War. It was built in enormous numbers and served in dozens of countries, which made it one of the most widely used aircraft of its era.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work the fuselage seams carefully. Many aircraft were in natural metal, so consider a metallic paint, stirring it thoroughly and applying it over a smooth surface with an airbrush. The cockpit and the air intake deserve attention before the fuselage is closed up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
