An aftermarket detail set in cast resin from the Czech manufacturer MH models for plastic models of the MiG-19 fighter in 1:72 scale. It replaces the doors of the main wheel bays with more faithful resin parts with suggested inner structure. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory.
Plastic doors tend to be too thick and to have no inner relief. Thin resin castings match the scale better and, once painted, bring out the wheel bays, which are clearly visible on a model standing on its landing gear.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Bring out the inner walls and structures with a wash and the edges with a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
