The Mikoyan MiG-29 (NATO reporting name Fulcrum) is a twin-engine supersonic fighter designed in the Soviet Union in the 1970s as an answer to the new generation of American machines. It entered service with the Soviet Air Force at the beginning of the 1980s. Thanks to a pair of Klimov RD-33 engines it reaches about Mach 2.2, and it made its name with excellent agility and short takeoff performance. The MiG-29 spread to a number of countries and is among the best known fighters of its era.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Paint and shade the cockpit interior and the instrument panel before closing the fuselage, and mask the clear canopy while spraying. Apply primer, lay the paints on with an airbrush, place the decals over a gloss coat and bring the panel lines out with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
