A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks made of kabuki tape, for clean spraying of the canopy glazing, the frames and the tires. The masks fit the shapes of the parts in 1:72 scale exactly and speed up the preparation of the model for painting considerably. It is not an aircraft kit, but an accessory for one.
The MiG-29 is a Soviet twin-engine fourth-generation fighter developed to win air superiority over the battlefield. The Izdeliye 9-12 version represents the early production form of the single-seat fighter as it entered service in the 1980s. The machine became known for its good agility, its powerful engines and its characteristic silhouette with twin fins.
Apply the masks to thoroughly dried paint with clean tweezers and press the edges down gently, so that paint cannot bleed underneath. Spray in thin coats and peel the mask off while the last coat is still fresh. On the bulged canopy it helps to warm the mask slightly before applying it, so that it clings better to the rounded shapes.
The masks are an accessory for a kit. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
