Eduard 1:72 masking set MiG-29UB (Izdeliye 9.51)

A set of die-cut self-adhesive masks of masking tape for models of the two-seat MiG-29UB trainer fighter (factory designation Izdeliye 9.51) in 1:72 scale. The masks copy the framing of the elongated two-seat canopy exactly, so you achieve crisp frames with no lengthy cutting. Round masks for the wheel hubs are usually enclosed as well.

The real subject

The MiG-29UB is the two-seat combat trainer version of the MiG-29 fighter. It has a lengthened cockpit with two seats in tandem and serves to train pilots on the MiG-29 type. Unlike the combat version it carries no radar in the nose. The version is widespread among a number of users of this machine.

Use

• Stick the masks onto clean, degreased glazing of the model.
• Press the edges down thoroughly against paint running under them.
• Spray the frames of the cockpit and take the masks off once dry.
• Use the round masks when painting the wheels.
