An aftermarket set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Xtradecal. The sheet brings together the markings of the Soviet MiG-17F fighter and of its license-built relatives, the Polish Lim-5 and the Chinese Shenyang J-5, and offers several color options with national markings. The decals go onto a finished plastic kit of the matching type and scale.
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 was a Soviet subsonic fighter that developed the concept of the MiG-15 and became one of the most widespread fighters of its era. It was also built under license: in Poland as the PZL-Mielec Lim-5 and in China as the Shenyang J-5. The machines served in dozens of countries and carried a wide range of camouflage and national markings.
Apply them over a smooth gloss coat. Release the decal in lukewarm water, move it into place and blot the excess water away. With a decal softener the decal clings to the detail and the engraved lines. Once dry, seal it with a clear coat of the sheen you want.
This is a stand-alone decal set. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
