This photo-etched set contains six portable barriers in 1:72 scale. It is NOT a vehicle model but an accessory for a diorama and military scenery. Portable barriers served to block roads, entrances and passages, to control the movement of vehicles and to defend checkpoints. The set will bring combat as well as urban scenes to life. The maker is the Czech brand Hauler.
Portable barriers were placed on roads in order to slow down or stop the advance of vehicles and infantry. In a diorama they give a scene scale, context and the feel of a real battlefield or a rear-area checkpoint.
Separate the photo-etched parts carefully from the fret, bend them along the engraved lines and fix the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once the base coat is sprayed on, they come out well with accentuated edges, shading and a subtle patina of rust and dust.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
