A model of a modern electric generator in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. Resin 3D print, an accessory for dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a small accessory for dioramas, not a model of a piece of equipment: a modern portable electric generator in 1:72 scale. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which prints the parts in 3D from photopolymer resin. A generator is a very eloquent item in a scene: it indicates that there is no mains supply on the spot, and so it places the scene in a situation after a supply failure, in a field position or on a building site.
Portable generators are recognized by the protective frame of tubes, the tank on top, the control panel with its outlets and the starter pull cord. It is the frame that is of modeling interest, because it is a thin three-dimensional structure. In scenes from present-day conflicts generators are everywhere, from command posts to residential buildings with the electricity supply cut off.
Wash the resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports off very carefully and work with respiratory protection, as the thin frame breaks easily. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint over a base coat and distinguish the materials: give the frame and the tank a strong color, the control panel a darker one and the metal outlets a metallic shade. Suggest the greasy streaks around the engine with a dark glossy wipe.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
