This injection-molded plastic kit from Sabre Model in 1:72 scale offers a multi-purpose van in two renditions in one box (2 in 1) – as an ambulance and as a rescue vehicle. The set holds two sprue sets, so you can build two different models. The kit is rounded out with photo-etched parts, metal pins and rubber tires for a higher level of detail. The small 1:72 scale suits dioramas as well as a collector's shelf.
The subject is a modern utility van of the kind used in civilian and emergency service for ambulance and response duties. The ambulance and the rescue vehicle versions differ in the body, the equipment and the markings, which gives room for two different models from one box.
Glue the plastic parts with a liquid cement for plastic, and the photo-etched parts and metal pins with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the body with a filler primer and lay the color on with an airbrush; the striking rescue livery and the beacons come out well with decals and clear shades. In the small scale, watch the fineness and cleanliness of the panel lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
