N1K1-Ja Shiden Type 11, interior 3D decals 1:72 are colored self-adhesive 3D decals for a detailed rendering of the cockpit of a Shiden fighter model. Intended for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals serves to detail an interior; it is not a kit. A flexible film with raised colored elements replaces the instrument panel, the side panels and other cockpit details of the N1K1-Ja Shiden fighter in 1:72 scale. It is made by Kelik. The decals are shaped for the Tamiya kit.
The Kawanishi N1K1-J Shiden, known by the Allied code name George, is a Japanese fighter from the end of the Second World War, derived from a floatplane fighter. The Type 11 Ja version had heavier gun armament. It was an agile and well armed machine of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
The elements are carefully lifted out of the sheet and stuck onto the relevant surfaces of the cockpit. The film conforms to slightly curved surfaces; degrease the surfaces and press the element into the detail with a soft cotton bud. Check in the manufacturer's instructions whether a decal softener may be used with them; with printed elements manufacturers tend to be cautious about softeners. Colored detail then comes about with no painting.
This is an accessory for a model, not the kit itself. The model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
