A resin aftermarket set depicting the engine section of the naval version of the NH-90 NFH helicopter. It is not a model but detail parts: the resin castings bring a faithful structure of the power unit and its fittings, which can be displayed with the engine covers open. The set is designed for models of the NH-90 in 1:72 scale.
The NH-90 NFH (NATO Frigate Helicopter) is the naval variant of the European multipurpose helicopter NH-90, intended for operations from the decks of frigates, for antisubmarine warfare and for rescue duties. An opened engine section is a rewarding subject for raising the realism.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. Pick the engine out with metal shades, a wash and fine pigments for an in-service patina.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of the helicopter. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
