A set of plastic figures of nomad warriors in 1:72 scale from Dark Alliance follows on as a second part to an earlier set on the same theme.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unassembled and unpainted plastic figures in a small scale. The designation of a second set means that it is a continuation of the same theme with different poses, not a duplicate package. The figures suit dioramas, filling out scenes and also tabletop games, where 1:72 scale is commonly used.
Nomad riders and warriors are a rewarding theme in a small scale. They are marked by light equipment, a preponderance of mounted over foot troops and armament built on the bow and the edged weapon. Whether the set draws on a particular historical period or on a looser imaginative conception is given by the manufacturer on the packaging, which is worth a look before building.
First wash the small figures in lukewarm water with detergent so that the base coat holds on them. Go over the mold parting lines with a scalpel and fine abrasive paper, because in the end a flash line shows more on a small figure than on a large one. Lay the base coat on thinly, otherwise the relief of the detail will be lost. Paint from the dark areas toward the light ones, use the finest brush you have on the faces and the weapons, and finally unify the whole with a wash and a matte varnish. A base of thin plastic or card steadies the figures and makes them easier to handle while painting.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
