A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale for the heavy Steyr ADGZ armored car with eight-wheel drive. The markings are tied to police and security service.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Steyr ADGZ is a heavy armored car of Austrian origin, built on a chassis with eight-wheel drive. Its tall angular hull and symmetrical layout set it apart from the lighter reconnaissance vehicles of the same time. During the Second World War these machines served, alongside the army, with the German police and security services as well, which committed them to guard duty and to actions in the rear of the front.
The sheet is the first of a series devoted to the German order police and concentrates precisely on the eight-wheeled Steyr ADGZ in 1:72 scale. The elements are laid out so that several different machines can be marked from one sheet. A breakdown of the variants, their color bases and the exact placement of the elements on a model is given by the instructions enclosed with the sheet.
Cut the element out with sharp scissors tight to the print and soak it in lukewarm water for a few seconds. As soon as it begins to slide freely over the backing paper, transfer it onto a smooth, glossy and degreased surface. Press the excess water out with a soft cloth, help it along with a softener in busy places and, once dry, go over the area with varnish so that the edges of the carrier film disappear.
The sheet will be used by builders of armored hardware in a small scale and also by those who build dioramas of rear-area scenes. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
