Quickboost P-39 engine 1:72 is a resin engine set for refining a model of the American Airacobra fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from Aires, released under the Quickboost brand, brings a detailed engine for a model of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but a refining accessory intended especially for displaying the machine with the covers open. The engine is cast with a faithful shape of the block and its accessories.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter of the Second World War period with an unconventional layout, in which the V12 engine was placed behind the pilot in the middle of the fuselage and a nose wheel gave the machine tricycle landing gear. This solution freed the nose for armament. An uncovered engine bay is a rewarding subject on detailed models.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces with breathing protection. Paint the engine before gluing it in and bring it out with a wash and a dry brush. Use cyanoacrylate for gluing and seat the covers of the engine bay open.
This is an accessory to a plastic model, not a kit on its own. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
