An injection-molded plastic kit of the American single-engine Curtiss P-40E Warhawk fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted plastic kit with a decal sheet and instructions.
The Curtiss P-40 was one of the most important American fighters of the first half of the Second World War. The E version brought heavier armament of six heavy machine guns and more performance, which made it suited both to escorting bombers and to direct support of ground troops. Warhawks fought in the colors of many Allied air forces - American, British, Australian, Soviet and Chinese - and became known for their service in the Pacific, in North Africa and in China.
Use a thin plastic cement on the joints. Apply primer before painting, and finish and close the cockpit and interior before joining the fuselage. Spray the color schemes and markings with an airbrush, and mask the armored glass and the lights.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
