Quickboost 1:72 - the Curtiss P-40E/M/N propeller with an alignment jig is a resin detail part for experienced modelers that gives the propeller an accurate shape and blade pitch.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin Quickboost set in 1:72 scale brings a precisely cast propeller for the American Curtiss P-40 fighter in the E, M and N versions, and on top of that a simple alignment jig for setting the angle and the spacing of the blades correctly. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket detail part to be swapped for the plastic propeller from a kit.
The Curtiss P-40, known as the Warhawk or Kittyhawk, was one of the most widely used American fighters of the Second World War and served on many battlefields. A faithfully shaped propeller with sharp blade edges is a prominent detail that catches the eye at once when the model is seen from the front. The enclosed jig helps you glue the blades at the correct angle without guesswork by hand.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent from the mold. Separate them from the casting block with a saw or a cutter, do not snap them off. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use the jig to set the blades until the glue has dried. Sand with respiratory protection, resin dust is harmful to health.
This is a resin detail part, not a stand-alone model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
