Eduard mask P-61A 1:72 is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set for precise spraying of the glazing of a model of the Northrop P-61A Black Widow night fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set from Eduard in 1:72 scale, not a model of the aircraft. The masks are die-cut from yellow masking film and follow the shape of the glazed canopy and of the other glazed areas of the P-61A. They give sharp, clean paint edges and shorten the masking work considerably.
The Northrop P-61A Black Widow was an American twin-engine night fighter of the Second World War. As one of the first machines it was designed from the ground up around an onboard radar, and it was distinguished by its twin-boom configuration and its heavy armament.
Degrease the glazing, lift the masks with tweezers and press them carefully into the corners of the frames. Spray the interior color of the frame first, then the final shade. Remove the mask while the lacquer is still fresh, so that the edges do not tear away.
The masking set is supplied on its own. The model of the aircraft, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
