A resin detail set from Quickboost in 1:72 scale. It holds precisely cast exhausts for models of the Petlyakov Pe-2 in the covered form, that is with shrouds over the exhaust stacks. It replaces the corresponding plastic parts of the kit; the model is not part of it.
The exhaust stacks of the Klimov V12 engines are clearly visible on the sides of the Pe-2's engine nacelles. The covered form matches machines with exhaust shrouds, and a resin casting offers sharper edges and small details that are difficult to form in plastic.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The exhausts come out well with metallic shades and mild emphasis of rust or heat-stained metal.
The set holds resin parts only. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
