A short-run injection-molded plastic kit of the Czechoslovak trainer and observation biplane Praga E-241 in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer RS Models. The package contains plastic sprues, clear parts and waterslide decals; the exact contents and the range of marking options differ between individual releases.
The Praga E-241 was a Czechoslovak two-seat biplane of mixed construction from the middle of the 1930s, powered by a Walter radial engine. It first flew in 1936 and served as a trainer and observation machine. It flew with the Czechoslovak Air Force, later with the Slovak Air Force, and some of the machines were used by the Luftwaffe as advanced trainers.
With a biplane, pay attention to the assembly and the alignment of the flying surfaces and the struts; it helps to prepare simple spacers in advance. Clean up the short-run parts from the sprue gates, fill the joints and sand them down. Glue with liquid cement for plastic, apply a primer before painting and lay the shades on with an airbrush. Finish and mask the cockpit and the glazing before the final color.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
