A board fence with a decorated top edge, a scenery accessory for dioramas and display-case scenes in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a small diorama a fence is an easy way to give a scene order. It marks out a plot, separates the yard from the road and above all hides the boundary of the base, where the diorama would otherwise end without explanation. It also serves as a guide to scale, because the viewer pictures the height of a fence more easily than the dimensions of a building.
A board fence with a shaped, decorated top edge in 1:72 scale. Check the overall length, the number of parts and the material against the manufacturer's part number PL7-013 before ordering; the choice of glue and of the tool for shortening it follows from the material.
Try the layout dry first and only then glue it. Do not run the fence in a perfectly straight line; a bay set slightly out of true and one leaning board look more credible. Shorten it with a tool suited to the given material and sand the edge after cutting. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. In a small scale keep the contrast down: a wood base, a thinned dark glaze into the gaps between the boards and only a hint of a lighter tone from a dry brush along the top edge. At the foot of the fence add an earth shade or pigment, so that the fence grows out of the terrain rather than standing on it.
The base, the terrain compounds, the vegetation, the figures, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
