A plastic kit of the British fighter biplane Gloster Gladiator in 1:72 scale from the Hobby Boss Easy Assembly range. The set has a low part count and is meant for a quick and easy build. The package holds a clear cockpit part and decals for two color schemes in Royal Air Force service.
The Gloster Gladiator was the last British fighter biplane brought into service with the Royal Air Force. Although modern monoplane fighters quickly overtook it, it took part in the opening battles of the Second World War on a number of fronts. It was marked out by its enclosed cockpit and radial engine; the naval Sea Gladiator version served with the Fleet Air Arm.
On a biplane, pay attention to setting the upper wing and the struts precisely. Use a thin model cement on the plastic and apply a primer before painting. Interwar as well as wartime RAF finishes come out well with an airbrush; the fine bracing and wires can be added from stretched sprue according to your own experience.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
