1:72 Reggiane Re.2005

Reggiane Re.2005 masks 1:72 (Peewit)

A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks for masking during spraying. The masks follow the shape of the cockpit frames, so the framing comes out crisp and free of ragged edges. The set is intended for models of the Reggiane Re.2005 in 1:72 scale.

The real subject

The Reggiane Re.2005 Sagittario was an Italian fighter of the Second World War, one of the so-called fifth series of Italian fighters powered by a license-built inverted V12 derived from a Daimler-Benz design. It stood out for its elegant aerodynamic line and good flying qualities, but only a small number saw combat.

Use and tips

• Stick the masks onto clean glazing and press the edges down with a toothpick.
• Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats.
• Peel the mask off before the finish has fully hardened.
• The inside of the cockpit can be sprayed with interior color beforehand.

Who the set is for

• Modelers of Italian fighters who care about crisp cockpit frames.
• Builders who want a clean result without laying tape by hand.

This is a masking aid, not paint and not a kit. The paints and the model are not included in the package.
