Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from Eduard in 1:72 scale for models of the RF-4 Phantom II reconnaissance aircraft. The masks are precisely cut from yellow masking (kabuki) tape and are used to mask the glazing of the two-seat cockpit cleanly.
The pre-cut shapes follow the frames of both canopies exactly, so a sharp boundary forms between the frame and the glass, with no overspill. Kabuki tape clings well even to curved surfaces, paint cannot bleed underneath it, and when the job is done it comes off with no adhesive residue.
Lift the masks off the sheet with tweezers and place them dry, pressing the edges down well. The inner surfaces of the glazing can be painted in the interior color before the masks are applied. After spraying, remove the masks while the paint is still fresh.
The masks do not include paint or glue; this is an accessory for a separately sold plastic model.
