1:72 ROKAF KF-21 Pilot Set is a figure of a pilot of the Republic of Korea Air Force to go with the KF-21 fighter from the Academy kit in 1:72 scale; the name gives one figure.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set is cut for the South Korean KF-21 fighter in a small aviation scale. The name gives that it holds one figure and that it is prepared for the Academy kit. A figure of a pilot in present-day equipment belongs among the accessories that change a 1:72 cabin the most, because an empty cockpit is conspicuous when seen from above and a finished model comes across as unfinished because of it.
The KF-21 is a modern South Korean combat aircraft developed as a replacement for older types in the armament of the air force there. The crew wears present-day gear: a helmet with a dark visor, an oxygen mask and a safety harness. It is precisely these elements that set today's airman apart from the preceding generations and it is worth telling them apart in color when painting, so that they do not merge on a small surface.
Before gluing, close the canopy dry and verify that the figure does not prevent it from seating. In 1:72 scale 0.1 mm extra is enough and the canopy will not shut. It also pays off to finish the painting before you insert the figure, because once it is in place the lower part of the flight suit can no longer be reached. Finish the cabin and the seat first, then, and add the pilot as the last step.
The painting stays with you.
