A set of two injection-molded plastic kits in 1:72 scale from IBG. In one package you get two separate models of Polish design in Romanian colors from the start of Operation Barbarossa: the PZL P.11F fighter, a low-wing monoplane, and the PZL.23 Karas light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. The package holds finely molded parts with a detailed cockpit and engraved panel lines, plus decals with Romanian markings for both machines.
The PZL P.11 was a Polish fighter monoplane with a characteristic gull wing, which made its name in the defense of Poland in 1939. The P.11F version was built under license for Romania. The PZL.23 Karas was a Polish light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft of the same era. Some of these machines served with the Romanian Air Force, which deployed them in 1941 in the attack on the Soviet Union as part of Operation Barbarossa.
Use liquid cement for plastic and build both models separately in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpits before closing the fuselages. Apply a primer before painting and lay the colors on with an airbrush; on the gull wing of the P.11, take care that the struts fit firmly and cleanly. Mask the glazing and apply the Romanian decals over gloss varnish compatible with the paint you have used.
The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
