This is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian GAZ-233114 Tiger-M armored off-road vehicle in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer RPG Model. This version carries on the roof a remote controlled weapon station named Arbalet (RCWS), from which the crew fires from the protected inside of the vehicle. According to the manufacturer the kit contains photo-etched parts and rubber (vinyl) tires.
The Tiger-M is a modern Russian 4x4 armored off-road vehicle in the category of light, highly mobile equipment. It derives from the older Tigr vehicle, has a strengthened hull, better ballistic protection and a more powerful diesel engine. It is used to carry crews, for reconnaissance and as a weapons carrier. The Arbalet module makes it possible to fire without the gunner exposing himself outside the vehicle, which raises the protection of the crew as well as the accuracy of the fire. Vehicles of this type today form the basis of Russian light wheeled mobility.
In the small scale, clean the small parts up and glue them with liquid cement, and the fine photo-etched elements with super glue; the vinyl tires can be painted separately and fitted at the very end. Spray the kit over a primer and pick the panels out with gentle shading, so that the shape of the hull does not get lost in the small scale. Create the weathering with a wash into the recesses and with dust pigments on the chassis and the fenders. Paint the remote controlled Arbalet station and its barrel separately for clean, sharp detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
