The RWD-8 was a Polish basic trainer of 1930s design - a high-wing monoplane of mixed construction with fabric covering over a frame. It was built in parallel at two factories, PWS and DWL, with PWS supplying aircraft for both military and civil use. With more than 550 built it was the most widely used Polish aircraft of its day; it served for basic flight training and for liaison and auxiliary duties.
Finish and paint the interior of the open cockpit first, because part of it remains visible once the fuselage is glued together. The fabric covering over the frame comes to life once the ribs are picked out with a thin wash. Seat the struts of the high wing and the landing gear carefully - with aircraft of this layout it is important to keep the angles right. Spray the base coat over a primer and apply the paint in thin coats with an airbrush or a brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
