Avia S-199 wheels PRINT 1:72 is a 3D-printed resin set of landing gear wheels from Eduard for models of this postwar Czechoslovak fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin detail set of the main landing gear wheels in 1:72 scale from Eduard. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that replaces the wheels of a plastic kit with more faithful parts. Direct 3D printing renders the fine tire tread and the detail of the hub.
The Avia S-199 came about in postwar Czechoslovakia by mating the airframe of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G with the Junkers Jumo 211 bomber engine. For its temperamental handling it earned the Czech nickname Mezek, meaning mule, and it also became famous as the first fighter of the Israeli Air Force in 1948. Cast wheels sharpen the landing gear of a model.
Separate the wheels carefully from the print supports, clean them up and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and apply a primer before painting.
A 3D-printed detail set. It does not contain the model itself, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
