A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from the manufacturer Aires in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone horizontal tail surface (stabilizer) with which you replace the plastic part on a finished model of the carrier-based SBD Dauntless dive bomber. The resin rendering offers a cleaner shape and a finer surface texture.
The Douglas SBD Dauntless was an American carrier-based dive bomber of the Second World War period. The horizontal tail surface provided the longitudinal stability of the aircraft both in steep diving attacks and in ordinary flight.
Wash the mold release residue off the part, carefully separate the casting block and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Before painting, check the alignment with the fuselage and the vertical tail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
