This is not a vehicle kit but a resin replacement set of tracks intended to improve models of the German Sd.Kfz. 250 light half-track in 1:72 scale. The castings have a substantially higher level of detail than the original injection-molded parts and capture the link structure of the running gear faithfully.
You replace the tracks from the box kit with them and gain a sharper surface and shape. Because the Sd.Kfz. 250 and the Sd.Kfz. 10 light tractor shared the same type of running gear, the set can be used on models of that related vehicle as well. Tracks are a rewarding place for washes and dry pigments, so the result lifts the overall impression of the vehicle markedly.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection when sanding and ventilate. The running gear is best finished and weathered before it is closed up and seated on the hull.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
