This set from the Quickboost brand is not a helicopter kit but a resin detail accessory for 1:72 scale. It replaces the plastic seats in the cabin of the Sikorsky SH-3H Sea King antisubmarine helicopter with more accurate resin castings, which already have the seat belts and buckles modeled in. The accessory is intended for the Sea King kit from Fujimi and suits modelers who want a level of interior detail that injection-molded plastic cannot deliver.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue from the mold. Separate them from the casting blocks by cutting with a saw, never by snapping them off, and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Do any sanding with respiratory protection, because resin dust is irritating. It pays to bring the belts out with a dark wash.
This is an accessory for a model, not the model itself. It is supplied as an unpainted resin set; the base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
