A set of precise turned metal parts from MASTER in 1:72 scale for a model of the Shenyang J-6 aircraft (export designation F-6). It contains a set of cannon barrels and a pitot tube. It is not an aircraft model but a refining accessory that replaces the plastic parts from the basic kit.
The Shenyang J-6 was the Chinese licensed version of the Soviet supersonic MiG-19 fighter, built in large numbers and exported under the designation F-6. It carried cannon armament and a characteristic pitot. The aircraft served in a number of countries for several decades.
The metal parts separate cleanly from the carrier and are glued into pre-drilled holes with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Metal holds paint better once a primer has been applied. Fitting fine parts belongs among the last steps of the build.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft kit. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
