The package contains plastic parts, clear glazing and a decal sheet with the markings of the Philippine Air Force. It is a compact model with finely engraved details, suited to collectors of less common trainers and light combat machines.
The SIAI S-211 is an Italian light jet trainer which, thanks to its low weight and simple maintenance, also served as a light attack machine. It was designed for basic as well as advanced pilot training and found use with several foreign operators, among them the Philippine Air Force. The combination of a training role and combat capability made it a popular type with smaller air arms.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the small joints of the cockpit before painting. A filling primer, shades applied with an airbrush and glazing protected by a mask are recommended. Settle the decals onto a gloss clear coat and finish the surface with a flat or satin coat according to the original.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
