This is a resin set of landing gear wheels for the Sikorsky SH-60 carrier-based helicopter (all versions) in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not a helicopter model but a detail accessory that replaces the wheels from the plastic kit with more accurate castings with fine relief on the tire and the hub.
The castings faithfully capture the tread pattern and the sidewalls of the tires as well as the layout of the rims. The wheels look slightly loaded by the weight of the machine, which on a standing model looks more realistic than smooth plastic parts. The set is made for the ordinary plastic kits of the SH-60 series in this scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with plastic cement. Protect your airways when sanding resin and use a primer before painting.
It is an add-on set, not a helicopter model. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
