Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss represents a Soviet armored train of the Second World War period. The model is built from plastic parts, and decals and illustrated instructions are included. Check the exact contents of the box and the part count against the particular edition.
Armored trains were among the mobile armored assets of the Red Army, committed to defend railway lines, to support infantry and for air defense. They usually consisted of an armored locomotive and gun or anti-aircraft cars with armor plating and turrets. Thanks to their mobility over the rail network they could shift firepower quickly to wherever it was needed.
With railway equipment it is best to assemble the bogies and the running gear carefully and to deal with the superstructures and turrets only afterwards. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement, apply primer and spray the colors with an airbrush. The effect of rust, wear and dust can be brought out with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
