Resin RS-82 unguided rockets in 1:72 scale are an accessory to a kit you have already bought, not an aircraft model. They replace simplified or missing external stores on Soviet machines.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a kit. It is a set of castings in modeling resin representing the Soviet RS-82 unguided rockets of 82 mm caliber, used as external stores on aircraft. The rockets are glued onto a finished model and replace the parts from the kit, which tend to be coarse, or are missing from the kit altogether. The accessory is made by Brengun of the Czech Republic.
A resin casting captures thin fins and the fine shapes of a warhead more sharply than injected plastic, because the mold does not have to deal with ejector pins and parting planes in the same way. On small armament this difference is clearly visible, especially when there are several rockets side by side on a model.
First wash the parts in warm soapy water to remove any mold release residue; otherwise neither paint nor glue will hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a knife rather than twisting them off, and level the area with a file. Sanding resin creates a fine dust that should not be inhaled, so work with respiratory protection or sand under water. It is bonded exclusively with super glue. Apply a primer before painting, and it is a good idea to spray the rockets before gluing them to the model so that the paint reaches everywhere.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
