Eduard 1:72 Spitfire Mk.I masks are precisely shaped painting masks for clean spraying of the glazing and the wheels, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard set of painting masks in 1:72 scale is a modeling accessory, not an aircraft kit. The masks are cut from yellow kabuki paper and their self-adhesive layer follows the frames of the cockpit canopy, and the tires of the wheels, exactly. They let you paint the glazing with sharp edges without laborious taping by hand.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I was the first production version of the legendary British fighter, which made its name during the Battle of Britain. It was powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine, and its elliptical wing became one of the best known shapes in aviation history.
Lift the parts carefully off the sheet, lay them exactly on the frames of the cockpit canopy and press them down. We recommend spraying the interior or base color first and the covering shade afterwards. Remove the masks while the paint is only dry to the touch, so the edge does not peel. Any adhesive residue can be removed with gentle pressure of a finger.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
