The Spitfire Mk.V was one of the most widespread versions of the legendary British fighter, powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine. The Mk.Va sub-version carried eight machine guns in the wings, that is the same layout as the older variants, while the later Mk.Vb and Vc moved to cannons. The Mk.V became the mainstay of the RAF in the middle phase of the war and fought on many fronts.
Use thin modeling cement on the plastic and paint the cockpit before you close the fuselage up. For the British camouflage an airbrush, a base color and masking are the way to go. Lay down a gloss coat before the decals, and after finishing a matte coat and gentle weathering. Fit the cockpit glazing only after painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
