A self-adhesive masking set in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Art Scale in the express version with a one-sided fit. The masks transfer easily and quickly onto the outer side of the canopy and the other transparent parts of a model of the early version of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter. The express version puts the emphasis on simple and quick application.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb was among the most numerously produced versions of this British fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and carried the b type wing with a pair of 20 mm cannon and four machine guns. The early machines differed in the details of the cowling and the air filtration from the later batches.
Mask the degreased canopy following the frames, press the edges down and spray over them with an airbrush, first with the interior color and then with the final shade. The one-sided fit masks the outer side of the canopy; the inner side can be masked with tape if needed. Take the mask off once the paint has dried.
This is a masking set, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
