An injection-molded plastic kit of the British fighter Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb in the HI-TECH edition in 1:72 scale from the Smer brand. Against the basic release, the HI-TECH edition adds photo-etched parts for finer detail and extra equipment. In the package you will find gray plastic parts, clear canopy parts, a photo-etched fret and a decal sheet.
The Spitfire Mk.Vb was one of the most widespread versions of this legendary fighter. It used the type b wing with two cannon and four machine guns and was fielded on a number of fronts in the middle phase of the Second World War, where it became one of the iconic forms of the Spitfire. It was powered by a Merlin 45 engine and at the time it was fielded it was one of the mainstays of the British fighter force.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Join the plastic parts with a thin cement for plastic, sand the seams over and mask the canopy glazing before painting. Spray the camouflage with an airbrush and pick out the photo-etched cockpit detail before closing the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories beyond the contents listed are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
