1:72 Stone fence from Black Dog is a boundary wall of quarry stone that settles a display in a small scale into the landscape at once.
Responsibility details are not available.
A boundary wall of quarry stone is a typical country item. This part carries stone masonry in a small scale and serves as an accessory for dioramas. It can be set up as the boundary of a plot, as the edging of a road and as the retaining wall of a slope, so it will find a use in more than one display.
In a landscape display it separates a road from a field; in a village one it bounds a yard. When low vegetation is placed behind it, a natural transition arises between the area and the background. In front of it, by contrast, room is left for the main model, which thus has nothing behind it or in front of it. The wall can also be left ending in the middle of the area, as though it carried on outside the section, through which the display gains the impression of a larger whole.
Modelers building country and landscape scenes in 1:72 who want a convincing stone item without casting it themselves. It will serve with larger dioramas too, where it fills the empty places and keeps the area around the main model from acting unfinished. Stone is rewarding also because work with it goes quickly and the result is already visible after the first two layers of paint.
