1:72 Su-20kabuki masks

New Ware masks Su-20 1:72

A set of masking stencils in 1:72 scale from the maker New Ware. It is not a model of the aircraft but a set of pre-cut masks of kabuki tape intended for precisely spraying the frames of the canopy and the other transparent areas of the Sukhoi Su-20 fighter-bomber. The stencils save time and ensure sharp transitions without cutting by hand.

The real subject

The Su-20 was the export version of the Soviet variable-geometry fighter-bomber of the Su-17 family. The aircraft served with a number of foreign air forces and was marked by swing outer wing panels for better performance on take-off and landing. Precise masking of the glazing is the key to a faithful look of the model.

Use

• The masks are lifted off the sheet and stuck onto the frames of the canopy and the other glazing
• Kabuki tape follows the shapes well and peels off cleanly after spraying
• The wheels can also be masked when painting the tires and the hubs
• We recommend pressing the edges down for perfect adhesion and to stop paint running under

Who the set is for

For modelers building the Su-20 in 1:72 scale who want clean and quick masking without preparing tape by hand.

This is a set of masks, not a model. The plastic kit and the paints are not included in the package.
