Besides the color-printed cockpit elements it holds, according to the name, a part made by three-dimensional printing in resin, which is above the usual standard for this kind of accessory. The item is an accessory for a kit that you obtain separately. The set is intended for the Zvezda kit.
The Su-24 was created as a strike aircraft able to reach its target at low level and in bad weather. The letters MR denote the specialized reconnaissance form, in which photographic and signals intelligence systems took the place of part of the strike equipment. The crew sits side by side rather than one behind the other, a layout more typical of heavy bombers; the cockpit is therefore wide and clearly visible when the canopies are open. The variable sweep wing allowed both a short takeoff and high speed at low level.
A wide cockpit means a larger area to fit out, so set aside more time for the work than on single-seat machines. Wash the resin part before fitting and clear it of production residue, otherwise the paint may not hold on it. Place the elements on a perfectly dry surface and keep checking that the canopy will close.
