Leading-edge slats for the Su-27 Flanker B 1:72 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It is not an airplane model, but a detail part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin movable leading-edge slats for the leading edge of the wing of the Russian (Soviet) Su-27 supersonic fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part that replaces the simplified or roughly suggested slats from the base kit, not a stand-alone aircraft model.
The Su-27, NATO reporting name Flanker, is a Soviet and later Russian heavy supersonic fighter. The single-seat production version Su-27S (Flanker-B) received AL-31F engines, leading-edge slats and shortened wingtips. The leading-edge slats extend at high angles of attack, increase lift and contribute to the famous agility of the aircraft at low speed.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them free of mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Protect your airways when sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. Before gluing, lay the slats dry on the leading edge, check their curvature and, if you like, set them in the extended position for a more striking look on the stand.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
